Save Instagram posts to a library that keeps them

Instagram's own "Saved" collections vanish if the post is deleted, the account goes private, or you lose access to the app. Share a post into Fav and the caption, the author, and every image in the carousel are copied into your library — readable and searchable later, on your terms.

What Fav keeps from an Instagram post

Why a copy matters here

Instagram's image URLs are signed and expire in hours, so a plain bookmark of one is broken by tomorrow. Your save keeps its own copy in your library, which is why a two-year-old save still opens. It stays private unless you publish it.

How to save one

In Instagram, tap Share on the post and pick Fav (or copy the link and paste it into Fav). The AI title, summary, and tags are written for you within seconds, and the save is private unless you publish it.

Frequently asked questions

Can Fav save an Instagram post from a private account?

No. Fav only reads what a logged-out visitor can already see. Posts from private accounts, and posts that have been deleted, can't be fetched — the link is still saved, just without media.

What does Fav keep for a video post?

The cover frame, the caption, the clip length, and the link back to the original post, so the save stays recognisable and searchable. Playback stays on Instagram.

Is my Instagram login needed?

No. Fav never asks for your Instagram credentials and doesn't sign in to Instagram on your behalf.
